Web and Desktop share one protected password-login endpoint. Attempts are tracked with hashed IP-and-email keys; raw passwords, IP addresses, and email addresses are never stored in the cooldown table.

Sandbox exchanges a separate token at Pinterest's api-sandbox endpoint. Choose it for Trial access; the board name alone does not select the API environment. Sandbox supports image Pins but not video Pins.
